The traffic was light. Hehe, I was "Just minding my own business" and a nice spanking new 911Turbo comes up from behind and swoops in front of me as I was getting off the connector to the Merrit Parkway. (he started it) The Merrit is one of the most fun stretches of road in New England. Lots of hills and curves on nice smooth pavement. Anyway, as we are getting on the Merrit I pull out first and got in front of him. One of my favorite up-hills is right around the corner so I wanted to be in front. I like raging the hills because of the Gforce you get and it keeps the speeds lower. So, he follows me but at the bottom of the 1st hill I drop it to 3rd and took off he didn't really respond so I let off. The next hill he's still with me so I try again. This time he didn't respond right away but I kept in it and let off at the top of the hill, and then he came up fast. So another really big hill was coming up and we were stuck behind a slower car. It was perfect, about 1/4 way up the hill the car in front pulls over to the right and I'm looking at about 1/2 mile of open road straight up hill. I was right in the sweet spot in 3rd gear with the boost at 1.25 (only had 93octane) I nailed it. Right away he is with me, until I got into the top of 3rd I began pulling away, then I hit 4th, once 5k came up his headlights started dropping away quicker and quicker. I crested the hill at the top of 4th (130ish) and he was about 15 or so lengths behind. He had his foot in it the whole way. I beat him, but you know I still wish I had race gas in the tank! =)
